Based on this, we have built up a portfolio of financial assets which has grown significantly. To provide the team which is responsible for this portfolio with a strong leadership, we are looking for a top notch Team Lead Portfolio Management (f/m/d) to support us and our mission.

Starting with the pricing of underlying assets, followed by the acquisition and the monitoring of the portfolio’s performance, this role is exposed to the entire process and provides an opportunity to apply your managerial and analytical skills across the entire value chain of our portfolio. Managing the team, understanding trends, evaluating results and generating meaningful insights means you can have a substantial impact right from day one.

What you can do with us:

Reporting to our CFO, you will lead an established team of talented colleagues who have scaled the portfolio business very successfully
Based on your extensive experience, you will now take the team and our setup to the next level, extending the substantial growth trajectory
You will share your expertise and knowledge in risk and asset pricing, contributing to the operational cycle of our portfolio business: Assessing assets, acquiring them and then monitoring and managing the portfolio
Levelling up our monthly reporting process, you will develop and deploy relevant analyses of the underlying data, generating insights and identifying trends as the basis for operational measures to optimise returns
Together with the team, you will play a critical role in maintaining our growth momentum, ensuring continuous improvements, including process and infrastructure enhancements
Being at the core of our business, you will be collaborating closely with other teams such as Sales and Partnership, Data Science, BI and Finance; you will also be closely working with senior management

What you should bring for it:

Successful completed academic education in the field of economics, business informatics, data science or similar
Several years (7+) of relevant work experience in portfolio management, risk management and data analysis rounds off your profile
Experience in leading a team
Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and SQL, complementing your analytical mindset and intrinsic motivation
Advanced knowledge of Python is an advantage and will help you to collaborate with the team
Solid understanding of statistical principles
Experience implementing Machine Learning models
Strong presentational skills, and a structured approach to working with large data sets
Very good understanding of numbers and high affinity for technology
Fluent English skills are mandatory, German knowledge is a plus
