We're looking for a Collection Expert (f/m/d) to join our team in Stockholm or Gothenburg. You'll own our Swedish collection operations: handling B2C consumer cases across multiple channels, building relationships with clients and third parties, and driving collection outcomes. As a Collection Expert, you'll also hold our debt collection licence - a responsibility that reflects the trust our clients place in you and the care we take with every debtor interaction. You will work closely with experienced colleagues across Europe, with real responsibility from day one.

Your Responsibilities:

Take ownership of our established Swedish collection operations and hold our debt collection licence. You'll build on strong foundations while bringing your own expertise and approach to drive continued growth in the market.
Drive skilled consumer conversations - Conduct collection negotiations with consumers (B2C) across phone, email, chat, and letter with competence, empathy, and a clear focus on reaching sustainable outcomes.
Manage client and third-party relationships - Build professional relationships with clients (B2B) and third parties (debt counselling services, attorneys), managing communication confidently and escalating complex issues where appropriate.
Improve processes and drive outcomes - Identify bottlenecks and case patterns; recommend and implement improvements that enhance efficiency and collection results. Flag feedback that helps us improve our technology and service delivery.
Maintain operational excellence and support the team - Ensure accurate file processing and CRM data integrity. Work closely with your manager and the international team to keep operations running smoothly, and share best practices with colleagues through training and mentoring.
Report to: Country Head Nordics and Head of Collection in Berlin.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

Professional debtor communication - Experience in Swedish debt collection (or similar environments in Sweden) with a proven track record of handling consumer communication with empathy and competence.
Fluent Swedish and English - Written and spoken proficiency in both languages is essential for consumer and client interactions.
Hands-on mentality - You're comfortable speaking directly with consumers (B2C), managing cases autonomously, and keeping operations moving in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills - Accurate file processing, attention to detail, and solid MS Office and CRM system skills.
Team collaboration - Experience mentoring colleagues or contributing to team development.

Nice-to-haves:

Swedish debt collection licence - You currently hold a licence or have held one previously, understand the regulatory framework and you're willing to hold PAIR Finance's licence.
Completed vocational or academic qualification - Commercial, service-oriented, or business-related background.
Additional Scandinavian languages - Norwegian or Danish could be useful for broader market insight.
